I'm Hammad Ahmed. I build websites for businesses in the capital — clear pricing, fixed timelines, and a handover that gives you full control.
If you run a business in Islamabad and need a website that actually works, this page tells you what I build, what it costs in real PKR figures, and how the project runs from first message to final handover. Most of my Islamabad clients find me after a bad experience elsewhere — a freelancer who disappeared, a site they can't edit themselves, or a proposal full of jargon with no price attached. This page is the opposite of that.
People use "web design" and "web development" interchangeably, but they describe two different things. Web design is the visual layer — the layout, colours, and how pages look. Web development is what sits underneath — the code that makes forms submit, pages load fast, and content editable without touching a single line of code. Most business websites need both, and most projects I take on cover both.
My primary platform is WordPress, which powers over 43% of all websites (W3Techs, 2024). It suits most Islamabad clients for a straightforward reason: once the project is done, you can manage your own content without needing to call a developer every time. I use Elementor for layout-heavy pages, WooCommerce for online stores, and custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript where the project has specific needs.
Islamabad's business mix is unique — here's who I work with and what their sites typically need.
Blue Area, Jinnah Avenue — clean, formal sites that build trust with corporate clients.
F‑6, F‑7, E‑7 — structured services, attorney profiles, and direct enquiry routing.
G‑11, G‑8 Markaz — project portfolios, donor pages, careers sections, sometimes bilingual.
Procurement businesses needing credibility and clear service descriptions.
Appointment booking, mobile‑first layout, and local SEO for patients searching on phones.
DHA Islamabad, B‑17, Bahria Town — listings setups with high‑quality photography integration.
Multiple F and G sectors — course listings, admission info, and parent‑facing content.
I've worked across all of these. If you don't see your type above, send a message — I'll tell you straight whether the project is a fit.
Clear steps, no mystery. Here's exactly what happens after you reach out.
WhatsApp or a call — you tell me about the business, what the site needs to do, and what you like or don't like. Free, 15–30 minutes.
A clear breakdown: what I'll build, what's included, the cost, and the timeline. Nothing verbal‑only.
50% before any design work starts. The balance is due on launch.
A visual mockup before writing any code. You see exactly what you're getting and request changes here — revisions at this stage cost nothing.
The site is built on a private link you can review. It isn't live until you approve it.
Two rounds included. Most clients need one.
The site goes live. I hand over every login — WordPress admin, hosting panel, domain registrar. Everything goes to you.
A five‑page business site takes two to three weeks, assuming you can supply your text and images within a few days of starting. Delays in content are the most common reason projects run long — not the build itself.
Yes. Corporate clients in Islamabad — consultancies in Blue Area, law firms in F‑7, procurement contractors in G‑9 — typically need a more formal design than a retail business. Clean typography, structured services sections, a team or about page, and an enquiry flow that routes to the right person inside the organisation. The process is the same as any other project. The main practical difference is that corporate sign‑off often involves more than one stakeholder, so the review cycle can be slightly longer. I factor that into the timeline at proposal stage.
I can, and I have. NGO and development‑sector sites regularly need things that standard business sites don't: a publications library, a project portfolio with donor logos, a vacancies section, and sometimes bilingual content in English and Urdu. Government‑linked clients often have specific invoicing or vendor registration requirements.
One thing I'll say plainly: I operate as an individual web developer, not an incorporated agency. For most projects in Islamabad's development sector, that's perfectly fine — donors and implementing partners regularly engage individual specialists. For a small number of procurement‑heavy contracts that require a PSEB‑registered company as a vendor, it matters. I'll tell you upfront if your contract is one of those, before we agree to anything.
Yes. WordPress requires regular updates — to its core software, themes, and plugins — to stay secure. SSL certificates and domain renewals need managing. Most businesses need content updates after launch too.
I offer monthly maintenance plans starting at Rs 5,000 per month (June 2025), covering WordPress and plugin updates, uptime monitoring, and one to two hours of minor content changes each month. Larger updates or new pages are quoted separately.
If you'd rather manage it yourself, that's fine. I hand over everything and walk you through the admin panel during handover. The site is yours; you decide how to run it.
For a five‑page business site on WordPress, expect Rs 35,000 to Rs 65,000 as of June 2025. A larger corporate site with fifteen or more pages runs Rs 70,000 to Rs 1,20,000. A site with booking systems or ecommerce starts closer to Rs 90,000. The final figure depends on what the site needs to do. I give a fixed written price before work starts.
A five‑page site takes two to three weeks once your content is ready. A larger corporate or NGO site with custom features takes four to six weeks. The most common delay is waiting for clients to supply their text and images — that's outside anyone's control but yours.
Everything: the domain registered in your name, the hosting account, the WordPress site and all its files, and full admin credentials. There's no ongoing platform fee to keep your site running. What I build for you is yours, outright.
Most client communication happens on WhatsApp and video call. Being based in Rawalpindi means I'm close enough to meet in person for clients who prefer that, but it's not required. I've worked with clients in Islamabad's F and G sectors, in DHA, and in Bahria Town without a single in‑person meeting.
A web designer focuses on visuals — how the site looks. A web developer builds what makes it work — the code, the CMS, the forms, the functionality. For most business websites, you need both, and most web development projects include both the visual design and the build.
